SUMMARY: Process non-real estate secured loans (unsecured, titled vehicle, deposit secured, etc.
) for customers and branch lenders accurately and on a timely basis.
Make lending decisions for loans with exceptions.
Correspond with branch lenders regarding loans in process.
Provide guidance to lenders regarding loan processes and decisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Provides administrative assistance to lenders for loan application processing.
Prepares loan files and all loan documentation as needed for branch lenders.
Ensures all loan documentation is complete and accurate according to policy.
Makes decisions and/or recommendations for branch lenders’ loan applications as needed.
Uploads loans from Application system to loan documentation system to Core System.
Replies to emails/written inquiries concerning loan processing.
Verifies accuracy of loan documentation and ensure that loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates, and other relevant data to comply with bank policy.
Reviews disbursements and processes offsetting transactions.
Provides personal lending support as needed, including telephone support, meeting with customers, closing loans when necessary, and other duties as requested.
Reviews/prepares monthly reports for department.
Processes Employee consumer loans.
Maintains current knowledge of and adheres to the BSA policy.
Assumes additional duties/responsibilities as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year Lending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A good understanding of financial institution products and services is also necessary.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to write business correspondence, and policies using proper grammar and accurate spelling.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as loan payments, discounts, interest, etc.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Organizational, priority setting, and decision-making skills are also required.
