Social Network Analyst ***This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) security clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph clearance.
*** Cherokee Preting is seeking exceptionally qualified candidates to serve as Social Network Analysts at the senior-level to support our government client.
The Social Network Analyst will conduct all-source in-depth link and social networks analysis using advanced social network analysis techniques.
Compensation & Benefits: Pay commensurate with experience.

Social Network Analyst Responsibilities Include: Assess opportunities to disrupt or degrade networks as appropriate Assess information gaps and predicts areas of information that enhance the collection cycle, based on collection strategies and Requests for Information (RFI) Provides exploratory and social network analysis and intelligence production from emerging methods, data, and sources Create network diagrams on FIE threat actors using all-source intelligence and other analytic tools and unique data sets in order to support CI analysis and decision making Research, review, edit, plan, prepare, integrate and publish or support/contribute to the publication all-source CI assessments to support DIA, and/or DoD programs, functions, and mission activities and comply with appropriate analytic and DoD standards and policies Provide structured analytic assessments of targeted social network and relationships that illuminate, characterize, and identify critical or key FIE to support Office priorities Performs other job-related duties as assigned Social Network Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (An additional three (3) years of related experience is required in place of a Bachelor’s degree).
Demonstrated knowledge of DoD processes and terminology Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks Working knowledge in in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Company Information: Cherokee Preting (Preting) is a part of Cherokee Federal – the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
