Nursing Assistant / Nurse Extern

May – August This externship under the direction of a RN will meet the patient needs effectively and efficiently by applying complete nursing care to assigned patients.
Care must be provided through all stages of ages in medical, surgical and telemetry areas of nursing.
Currently enrolled in a RN program approved by a State Board of Nursing BSN program.
A student must be entering their senior year and have completed at least the medical/surgical clinical component of his/her educational experience.
Diploma Program – A student who has completed their second year of nursing school.
Associate Program – A student who has completed their first year of school as who is considered a senior.
BLS required.
Minimum GPA of 3.
0 required.
