Assistant Football Coach – Defensive Line Frostburg State University seeks applications for a full-time contractual exempt *Assistant Football Coach – Defensive Line *to begin in March 2024.
Salary and contract terms are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The following benefits will be available on an annual basis: · University System of Maryland Tuition Remission program.
· Five (5) days of annual leave · Specific Holidays · Three (3) days of sick leave · May participate in the State Health Insurance programs (medical, prescription and/or dental, etc.
) that are available to State employees.
Staff working 30 hours or more per week are eligible for the applicable state subsidy for medical and prescription coverage.
FSU boasts 25 varsity sports (11 men / 14 women) at the NCAA Division II level that compete in the Mountain East Conference and the East Coast Conference.
*Responsibilities*: Coach and develop the Defense Line position group while working a collaborative member of the defensive staff.
Assist the Defensive Coordinator with game plan, on the field coaching at practice and on game day.
Help monitor and advise student-athletes to ensure academic success.
Assist in evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
Other related duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.
*Minimum Qualifications*: Bachelor’s degree and one year of coaching or other related work experience.
Previous competing experience at the collegiate level.
*Preferred Qualifications*: Two years of coaching experience.
