Job Overview
The Automotive Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of vehicle sales and leases.
They work closely with customers, sales teams, and financial institutions to secure financing, present and explain financing options, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities

Financing and Leasing
- Assist customers in understanding and selecting appropriate financing options for vehicle purchases or leases.
- Negotiate loan and lease terms with financial institutions to secure competitive rates and terms.
- Present financing options to customers, explaining terms, conditions, and implications.

Credit Analysis
- Conduct credit checks and assess customer creditworthiness.
- Work with lenders to secure approvals for customers with varying credit profiles.
- Provide guidance on credit improvement strategies when necessary.
3.
Paperwork and Documentation:
- Prepare and review all necessary finance and insurance documents with customers.
- Ensure accurate completion of all financial and legal paperwork.
- Submit financing deals to lenders for approval.
4.
Compliance
- Stay informed about federal, state, and local regulations related to automotive financing.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in finance and insurance transactions.
5.
Customer Service
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns related to financing.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the finance process.
6.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with the sales team to maximize finance and insurance opportunities.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as the accounting department, to ensure accurate financial records.

Sales Performance
- Set and achieve sales targets for finance and insurance products.
- Monitor and analyze finance and insurance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
8.
Training and Development
- Provide training to the sales team on new financing options and industry trends.
- Stay updated on changes in financing options and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in automotive finance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial and insurance products.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and financial systems.
