West Central Equipment, the John Deere turf and agriculture equipment dealer in Somerset, PA, is seeking a full-time equipment delivery driver with an excellent driving record and focus on customer service.
The equipment delivery driver will load and unload equipment at the store and customer locations.
The driver must create an exceptional customer experience with each delivery.
Weekend work, when required, is Saturday mornings (no Sunday hours).
JOB DUTIES
Deliver new equipment to customers and demonstrate equipment features as needed
Pickup and deliver serviced and repaired equipment to customers
Maintain required records and paperwork as directed by the service manager
Strap or chain-down equipment on trucks and trailers to ensure safety and security, and no damage
Assist service manager and other location personnel, as requested, with non-driving duties
QUALIFICATIONS
CDL Not Required .

DoT Medical Examiner's Certificate Required and can be acquired after hire
Excellent driving record
Proven customer relationship skills
Ability to drive, or learn to drive, turf equipment, tractors, skid loaders and other equipment in inventory
Ability to safely operate, or learn to operate a forklift
Ability to read customer invoices and delivery documents
