Job Description:
The Assistant Front Office Manager will be responsible for working closely with the Front Office Manager to oversee all areas of operation relating to the guest experience for Reservations, Front Desk, PBX, Door Attendants and Guest Services Agents.
; all aspects of the Omni Select Guest Program; all systems and control aspects of the Front Office; the development of all Front Office associates
Responsibilities:
Ensure registration cards are completed.
Ensure all needed reports are run.
Continued training done with all associates.
Communicate with all department managers on continuing basis.
Especially the communication with Night Audit each evening/morning.
Handle all guest complaints maintaining a satisfactory impression with the guest on resolving any complaints.
Be very familiar with the hotel computer system for training maintenance and trouble shooting.
Complete weekly supply inventories to ensure adequate pars of such.
Complete rate discrepancy report and make needed changes.
Block/assign applicable arrivals for the following day; i.
e.
V.
I.
P.
's, ESP's, Special Requests, etc.
Complete weekly schedules while monitoring productivity of all positions.
Complete monthly skills checklists with all associates
Complete credit check daily.
Adhere to all Systems & Controls of the Front Office and appropriate areas of responsibilities.
Assure knowledge and training of Marketing Programs of company and hotel.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Four-year college degree, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Two years experience in a similar resort or conference center.
Two years of management experience in Hotels or Resorts.
General computer proficiency.
Pleasant phone demeanor.
Advanced knowledge of Front Office computer systems, including the ability to solve system related problems.
