*Job Overview:*
The services to be performed by the Seasonal Employee consist of the following: Camp Counselor duties as outlined within current certification as mandated by the Allegany County Health Department, as well as those additional duties as may be prescribed by the Day Camp Manager and the Director of Parks and Recreation.
Said services shall be performed under the supervision and direction of the Day Camp Manager and/or Director of Parks and Recreation, to whom the Seasonal Employee shall be responsible.
During working hours, the Seasonal Employee agrees to faithfully and diligently perform the aforesaid duties such as working with children of the Day Camp with daily activities of outdoor play, swimming, organized learning activities, swimming lessons, tennis lessons, Arts & Crafts and special events and devote his/her entire time and attention to their performance.
Said services shall be performed between the hours of *7:00 a.
m.
and 6:00 p.
m.
* or as otherwise directed by the Day Camp Manager and/or Director of Parks and Recreation.
*Responsibilities and Duties:*
· Must work with children of day camp and perform daily activities including but not limited to outdoor play, swimming, organized learning activities, tennis lessons and arts & crafts.
· Must devote his/her entire time and attention working to day campers’ performance.
· Must be available to work May through September.
· Must be available to work up to 40 hours a week.
*Qualifications:*
· Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
· Applicant must have ability to supervise and instruct children in various recreation activities.
· Applicant must be a high school graduate.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $15.
