SUMMARY:
This position supports the Human Resources department by functioning as the first point of contact for HR-related queries.
Performs administrative duties such as maintaining personnel records, conducting new hire orientation, and recruitment support.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Conducts screening, interviewing, and testing of job candidates.
• Supporting the administrative part of the new hire process (screening, contracts, updating of HR systems).
• Maintains human resources records by tracking new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases, and time-off.
• Orients new employees by providing new-hire packets, company policies, payroll, and benefits information.
• Answers employee queries about HR-related issues.
• Assist with performance management procedures.
• Generating reports on general HR activity.
• Assist with internal employee relations investigations at the direction of the HR Director.
• Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidential information
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s in Human Resources or related field and/or a Human Resources certification
• Experience with HR software such as MyHR / Dayforce
OTHER:
