Accounting Clerk

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk.
As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting department.

Responsibilities: - Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices - Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions - Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing procedures - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information - Provide support for audits and assist in resolving any discrepancies - Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field - Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in math and excellent attention to detail - Experience working with accounting software and Microsoft office - Knowledge of technical accounting procedures and regulations - Familiarity with journal entries, general ledger, and financial statements - Previous experience in automotive accounting is a plus We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development.
