```Duties:``` - Perform general bookkeeping duties, including maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment and collection of invoices - Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions - Prepare and process payroll, including calculating employee hours, deductions, and taxes - Assist with the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements - Maintain the general ledger and perform journal entries as needed - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes - Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits - Provide administrative support to the office, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence ```Skills:``` - Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software - Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices - Experience with payroll processing and tax calculations - Ability to perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations - Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and collections - Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information - Knowledge of technical accounting concepts is a plus If you have a passion for numbers and possess the necessary skills in bookkeeping and accounting, we invite you to join our team as a Secretary/Bookkeeper.
