SUMMARY
Responsible for accurately recording audits daily totals in a timely manner, thereby ensuring smooth and efficient operations in the Revenue Accounting Division of the Finance Department.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
REPORTING LINE
Performs audit of daily revenue information.
Enters daily information into revenue audit report forms, runs back-up reports.
Prepares journal entries, tracks coupons used on property, sorts and records complimentary receipts.
Reconciles accounts on a regular basis.
Assists with the monitoring of all financial activities on property, with respect to revenue accounting, ensuring all applicable laws, rules, regulations and controls of the property, the Federal and State Tax Commissions, and the Gaming Commission are enforced throughout the Revenue Accounting Division of the Finance Department.
Evaluates various situations, with respect to revenue audits, and determines how to handle the situation.
Ensures a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction, in the area of revenue accounting, is achieved and maintained.
Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
Held accountable for the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
Completes other assignments as required.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Supervisor and then the Manager.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
The ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations
Proven experience providing high level of guest service.
Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate.
The ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide
The ability to read, write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
The availability to work all shifts.
The ability to work in a fast–paced environment and stressful situations.
Must be at least 21 years old to work on the gaming floor inside the casino.
Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
The ability to verify the right to work in the United States.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Some college courses in banking and finance or related area preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to push, pull, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crawl, twist, sit, climb, balance and carry.
Regularly required to lift and/or move up to seventy-five 25 pounds, and often lift and/or move up to one hundred 25 pounds.
Constant use of hearing, speech, vision (including distinguishing between shades of color), radios, and tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy environment and seasonal elements.
