We’re currently in search of a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician that can work independently without direct supervision while staying on task with repairs and routine maintenance schedules.
This individual will be interrupted numerous times a day with attending to equipment related issues requiring quick resolution to sustain the production schedule.
Other duties such as off-loading tanker trucks into the appropriate bulk holding tanks, working on special projects that may include design and fabrication of tools to support more efficient production operations, use of company vehicle in retrieving supplies and supporting foam department operations may also be assigned.
Basic hand tools are required while any specialized tools and/or equipment will be provided for use by the company.
On-the-job training will be provided for the specialized foam filling equipment utilized at Pomp’s Bedford-OE by a Certified Technician of the equipment manufacturer.

Job Responsibilities:
• All aspects of TryFil® Foam Filling Equipment training, operations, repair, maintenance and record keeping
• Assist with foam filling machine start-up, shut down, operations, and clean-up
• Off-Loading of incoming bulk foam liquids
• Minor to major repair of Corghi® tire mounting machines
• Minor to major repair of forklifts and other company vehicles
• Minor to major repair of other facility equipment or building requirements
• Maintain up-to-date records with all facility and equipment Preventative Maintenance Schedules
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
• Process and/or machine improvements for greater safety, cleaning and/or efficiency
• Other duties as assigned by his/her Manager
Job Requirements:
• Electrical knowledge and experience with:
• 120VAC - 480VAC; 1 to 3 phase power
• PLC
• Machine tool control systems
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical controls and systems
• Proven mechanical aptitude
• Ability to effectively read and explain:
• Customer blue prints
• Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and machine prints
• Ability to perform minor welding when needed
• Basic tire knowledge helpful
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, ability to think quickly on their feet
• Ability to stay focused with little to no supervision
• Flexibility to work modified time schedule when requested/required
• Excellent attendance record
• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to move quickly and have mobility
• Critical thinking skills
• Must have own basic tools
• Ability to work under mental stress and pressure
• Able to lift up to 50lbs repeatability
