Full-Time Instructor - Carpentry

Overview SCTC is seeking a full-time Carpentry instructor, needed for the start of the 2024-25 school year.
As an Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students in various Carpentry/Construction-related subject areas.

Applicants must have one of the following: - Career & Technical Certification - Minimum of four years paid work experience in the Carpentry field Additional Requirement: - Applicant must be able to obtain Act 34, 151, and 114 clearances upon Duties - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to students - Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment - Utilize various teaching methods and resources to enhance student understanding - Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback - Develop curriculum and instructional materials - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in the field Carpentry/Construction-Related Subject Areas - Hand & Power Tools - Blueprint Reading - Site Preparation & Layout - Footings & Foundations - Framing: Floor/Wall/Roof Construction - Interior/Exterior Finishes - Construction Project Estimation Join our team of dedicated instructors!
