*Assistant Comptroller*
Frostburg State University, Division of Administration and Finance, seeks applications for a full-time, exempt Assistant Comptroller.

*Responsibilities:* Provide management, supervision, and support to the accounting and financial services functions of the University.
This includes, but is not limited to general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and procurement.
Position supervises and has oversight of the accounting and payable operation staff members.
Facilitates collaboration between the Office of the Comptroller and institutional business units to ensure effective accountability, custody, and stewardship of institutional resources and assets.
*Minimum Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or other related field with at least four years related experience in accounting.
*Preferred Qualifications:* MBA degree, accounting experience in a college/university, governmental, or comparable organization with 1-3 years of management/supervisory experience.
Experience with governmental accounting, GASB, GAAP financial statements, RSTARS, PeopleSoft and Workday Finance are preferred.
